I had the pleasure of teaming up with a couple of the most creative and talented up-and-coming artists in the Tampa Bay area for this totally rad concept shoot at the Florida State Fair. Lisa of Lisa Gilmore Designs was my GORGEOUS model as well as fashion stylist for this shoot. Along with her ridiculously adorable and funny husband, they turned quite a few heads as we made our way around the fairgrounds. One teenaged girl even stopped us and asked if we were with America’s Next Top Model show! To complete our trio of lovely ladies who made this shoot such a success, the UBER talented Myah Faraone Caudill, my hair and makeup artist. We could not have pulled off this authentic vintage look without her talented eye and perfect execution!
We all had such a great time working on this project from start to finish. Once in a great while, if you are lucky, you come across people in your life who you just click with and working together becomes more like playing together and THAT is when the magic happens! Take a peek…
First business to attend to was getting ready. I think the sprit of Marilyn was upon us this day. What do you think?
Next we were on a mission to get the last bit of yummy light as it was making it’s dissent towards the horizon. Love me some light flare!
A red and white tent?!? YES please!
Oh that light!!!!
What’s a shoot without the Captain Morgan Pose?
I loved the colors working on this series.
A huge thank you to Lisa, “Stache”, and Myah for a wonderful and successful day of shooting! Can’t wait to work with this group again and see what else we can dream up!
